ROAD TO ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY (SECTION 1)

Hiii guls, long time no see. I lost for several months, and here I’m back, hihi :D

I want to tell you about a seminar which I followed this day. The seminars’ theme was about Asean Economic Community 2015. I believe, most of you have ever heard it before. It is one of our government programs with other Asean countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, Bruney Darussalam, Thailand, and Myanmar) made in 2003 and will be started in the late of 2015. The big question is, Is Indonesia ready to face Asean Economic Community (AEC) 2015?

We know that Government has done a lot of things for this big event, for example, they had socialized AEC 2015 by hold seminars in many places or by a demonstration through advertising or even by blog posts in their official blog/website. They also do have many big plans for Indonesias’ future in AEC 2015 and they have conducted some of their plans, example, they gave funds to many Small and Medium Enterprises to support them to develop their businesses especially to deal with the AEC 2015.

So are the academics, they also do some efforts to make people who run Small and Medium Businesses more understand AEC 2015, the effects of AEC 2015 on their businesses. They also created and supported students or collegers to be young entrepreneurs who can compete in the AEC 2015 later. They always motivate them to study or learning by doing.

Despite it, Indonesia still has some problems (we call it as challenges) in human resources, infrastructure, logistics, bureaucracy, and legal certainty. Nevertheles, Indonesian has to prepare themself well to face the AEC 2015 even they are ready or not. Because if not, they will be left behind from other Asean Countries, and they will realize that 20 years later when other countries have become developed countries. How pitty noo :(

Here are some tips to face AEC 2015 that I got from that seminar in the first section :

1.      English is important, because we will use this language to talk with other Asean Countries, so we have to have good english skill
2.      Attend training which International or ASEAN standart
3.      Expand our network, not only in Indonesia, but also in ASEAN
4.      Understanding the ASEAN agreements, including members commitment.

Sooo, are you ready for the challenge guys? This is competition time !
