MY BEST HOLIDAY #1 TRANSPORT MUSEUM

Guess where was I from that picture ! I was just like in an airport, right?
I was in Transport Museum. It is located in Batu, Malang, one of the most famous tourism places in Indonesia.

When the first time I arrived there, my opinion about that place was "similar as Lembang, Bandung" because the weather is so cold and there are many tourist attractions.

On 16 August 2014, two of my friends and I went to Malang. We departed from English Village, Pare, Kediri. Actually, we were students of Test-English School who were taking courses in the period 10 August. I was taking  IELTS Preparation and they were taking TOEFL Preparation.

Our course started on Monday to Saturday, 05.30 a.m. until 09.30 p.m. in the first week, whereas in the second week, we started from 05.00 a.m. to 05.30 p.m.. But, saturday was the special day for us. If people would like to say "Thank's God, it's Friday", we did not. Because of Friday was not the weekend for us, so we changed it to "Thank's God, it's Saturday" :D

On Saturday, the course always ended before noon, so we can go wherever we want. We had just 2 days off a week, Saturday and Sunday, but I always assumed that we had just 1 and a half day. so it was not truly 2 days :D.

When I went to Malang, friends of mine in IELTS Preparation class went to Pare square, so I could not be with them.

We went to Malang at 02.00 p.m. by bus, and unfortunately, there is no empty seat so we had to stand for about 3 hours during the trip.

Actually, from Pare to Malang, we will go through Batu, but we did not stop at Batu because we wanted to explore Malang first.

We arrived at around 05.00 p.m., then we prayed Asr in the neighborhood. We prayed Maghrib in K.H. Bedjo Darmoleksono Mosque, which was built by University of Muhammadiyah Malang.

After that, we went to my friend's dorm at arround Brawijaya University. After took a bath and prayed Isha, we toured round Brawijaya University. here we were :D

In the morning, we went to a kind of traditional market. People call it as "Pasar Minggu". Devi joined with us. She is one of our friends in Test-English School who was taking TOEFL Preparation.

We returned to dorm at 10.00 a.m.. We took a bath and waited for Devi because she had to attend her meeting in her campus, Brawijaya University. After she finished, we went to Transport Museum, Batu. Hilda did not go with us because she had to help her friend to finish her friend's thesis.

We went to Transport Museum after midday prayer. We went by motorcycle. After arrived there, we had to pay entry fee of Rp. 75.000,-. It is the fee in the weekend, whereas in the weekdays, you have just pay Rp. 50.000,-. If you bring all kinds of cameras except phone camera, you will be charged an additional fee of Rp. 30.000,-. If you go to this place after 07.00 p.m., you will pay just Rp. 30.000,- in the weekdays and Rp. 50.000,- in the weekend.

This museum exhibits all kinds of ancient transports and modern transports.

When the first time I entered into the museum, I felt so amazing and also almost frustrating. why frustrating? because I thinked that it was a small place. But I was wrong. The place was so big and had good infrastructure.

The first, we were presented with types of transportation in our country, such as Delman. We continue walking along the road and found many kinds of transport from other countries. I felt like we were brought by plane :D
